| DOUBLE TARGET FOR ALBERTO CERQUI IN MAGNY COURS | |
| 03/09/2013 - The summer break being over, the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy will resume this coming weekend in Magny Cours (F) for the fifth round of the season, that is valid for the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy-France 911 50th Anniversary, the mini-championship run in two rounds with the participation to a side race organized by Porsche in occasion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2014 as prize.
After the perfect weekend of the end of July in Imola, Alberto Cerqui heads to France as classification leader and is well motivated to increase his advantage ahead of the last two red-hot rounds of Misano and Monza. Two months ago in Mugello's round of the Italian mini trophy of the 50th anniversary of Porsche 911, the young driver from Brescia in force at Team Ebimotors closed fourth in race one to get later on a solid win in race two, sliding in this way within the fight for the final victory where he now stands third at 32 point, that is only three shy of the leader Monti. Alberto Cerqui: "I have never raced in Magny Cours and therefore the test we run ten days ago has been quite handy. It is quite a challenging track that hosted several time Formula One; it will be crucial to get the most out of the two practice sessions before placing our bet on the weekend in qualifying. The forty cars on track will be a great spectacle to watch: strengthening the leadership in the championship is going to be my first target, but I will also not forget the fight for the victory in the Porsche 911 50th anniversary trophy".
